Swan Lake
Tchaikovsky's first ballet score - the first modern, symphonic ballet score - is largely known today by way of the concert suite, or via productions which bear little relationship to the composer's original work. In this program Graham looks at the history and content of Swan Lake, using a recording of the complete score featuring The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Wolfgang Sawallisch.
