National synopsis as of Friday, 7PM

A deep low over the Coral Sea is causing wind and showers to ease over southeastern QLD, northeast and coastal NSW. A front is bringing showers to coastal SA as a trough spreads showers across southwestern WA. Elsewhere, a high pressure ridge is keeping most regions dry. A significant trough in the northern jet is maintaining a surface trough just off the QLD coast, bringing cloud and rain to southeast QLD. The southern jet is steering a front over WA towards the southeast.
