Labor sets sights on Macarthur electorate

The conventional wisdom says that a margin of more than 11 per cent is too big for almost any electoral swing but Labor's claiming to be confident it can win the outer south-western Sydney seat of Macarthur. Macarthur takes in the economically depressed areas around Campbelltown, the mortgage belt in suburbs such as Narellan and further down the Hume Highway towards Canberra, more rural areas.
