Woman hurt in Advancetown car crash

A 34-year-old woman has been pulled from the wreckage of a car that crashed about 80 metres down an embankment in the Gold Coast hinterland.

The accident happened on Beechmont Road at Advancetown.

A spokeswoman for the Careflight Rescue Helicopter Service says the woman has suspected spinal injuries and is being flown to Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital.
