Search to resume for missing fisherman

Posted January 30, 2007 07:30:00

A search will resume this morning for a 57-year-old man missing on the Goulburn River near Acheron, north-east of Melbourne.

It is believed the man parked his car near the river at about 8am AEDT yesterday to go fly-fishing.

Police were contacted by the man's wife yesterday afternoon, but were unable to find any trace of the Ballarat man.
