Accidents delay morning motorists

Posted April 2, 2007 08:15:00

Separate accidents including a fatality south of Brisbane are causing major delays for motorists on the Pacific Motorway.

Police say a 63-year-old man died after he rolled his car in the southbound lanes at Springwood.

And a chemical spill at Acacia Ridge is delaying motorists there.

The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service says a tanker is leaking hydrochloric acid in McCotter Street.

Nearby residents and businesses have been evacuated.
