Cars damaged by Princes Highway rock throwing

A number of cars have been damaged after having rocks thrown at them in Melbourne's west last night.

Police believe three children were throwing rocks at cars travelling on the Princes Highway at Laverton.

Witnesses told police they saw children throwing rocks from behind barriers on a building site.

Several drivers reported panel damage to their cars, but no one was injured.
