Posted October 26, 2007 10:29:00

Police are investigating separate incidents during which shots were fired in south-west Sydney.

Two men armed with guns and a third with a knife robbed a hotel at Airds about 8.30pm (AEST) last night.

Shots were fired during the robbery but no-one was hurt.

At Liverpool, two men had to be treated in hospital after being hit with what is believed to have been shotgun pellets.

Police say the incident happened as the pair walked along Campbell Street about 2:00pm (AEST) yesterday.

The 24-year-old and the 20-year-old have since been discharged.

Police are trying to establish a motive for the shooting.

People with information regarding either shooting are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
