Police probe suspicious Aberdeen death

Posted January 30, 2008 09:39:00

New South Wales Hunter Valley police are asking for public help in investigating the suspicious death of a 55-year-old man at Aberdeen last week.

Garry Wiggins was found unconscious in Segenhoe Street about 7:00am AEDT on Friday and later died in Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital.

It is yet to be confirmed how he died and Strike Force Durbin has been established to investigate the events leading up to his death.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Wiggins walking from MacQueen Street towards Segenhoe Street about 9:00pm on Thursday to contact police.
