Several leading cricketers including Australia's Shane Warne say they will not return to the Indian city of Jaipur until they receive assurances about their safety.
A terrorist attack killed 63 people when bombs exploded in Jaipur's main tourist area on Tuesday night.
Warne is captain-coach of the city's Indian Premier League (IPL) side, the Rajasthan Royals.
He and team-mates including fellow Australian Shane Watson and South Africa captain Graeme Smith were having a short break in Goa when the bombs went off.
Australian Darren Berry is the manager of the team and says the attack occurred in a market area that the team frequented.
"If we didn't got to Goa - we were undecided if we were going to take a couple of days off or stay together in Jaipur - then who knows what may have unfolded and that's very disturbing and unsettling," he said.
He says the group is badly shaken by the bombings and will remain in Goa for at least another two days.
"We wouldn't be moving until we had absolute guarantees, written guarantees from heads of state and from heads of security that certain that we have requested were put in place," he said.
The Royals are scheduled to play an IPL game in Jaipur on Saturday night.
Berry says he is considering whether to return to Australia.
