A Canberra man has appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court after he allegedly tried to have sex with a woman while she slept this morning.
Police say a 35-year-old woman woke up to find a man in her room.
Alan Edward Fernando, 30, from Belconnen is charged with attempted sexual assault, an act of indecency and burglary.
He has been refused bail and is due back in court tomorrow.
