A Salisbury East man who allegedly followed a woman to her house at Glenelg North and raped her last January has pleaded guilty to rape in the District Court.

Police alleged Aaron Hasham Raymont, 26, forced his way into the home when the woman unlocked the front door.

Raymont had previously pleaded not guilty in Adelaide Magistrates Court to two counts of rape and one of serious criminal trespass.

But he has changed his plea to guilty and will return to court next month.
