The Tasmanian Government is to look at devil-proofing the Dunalley Bridge, in the state's south.

Surveillance equipment installed 12 months ago has recorded images of tasmanian devils crossing the bridge into the Forestier Peninsula.

The bridge is the only land access to the peninsula, where scientists are trying to minimise the spread of devil facial tumour disease.

The Department of Infrastructure is now looking at ways of stopping devils crossing the bridge.
