Prime mover crashes into car

A man has been flown to hospital after a prime mover crashed into a car in north Queensland.

The four-wheel-drive was turning into a wrecking yard when the prime mover crashed into it on the Bruce Highway near Sarina at about 11:00am.

The four-wheel-drive then collided head-on with another car.

Rescue crews had to cut a male passenger out of the four-wheel-drive, who was was airlifted to the Mackay Base Hospital suffering serious lower leg and pelvis injuries.

Two other men were driven to hospital with leg and chest injuries.
