Hit and run in Kilmore

Posted July 25, 2008 08:24:00

Police are looking for the driver of a car involved in a hit-run in Kilmore, north of Melbourne, last night.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with leg injuries after being struck by a station wagon in Union Street shortly before 10:00pm (AEST) on Thursday.

Police say the driver took aim at the group after an argument with the man and his friends in a nearby street.

The man was thrown over the bonnet and onto the road before the car sped off.

He was taken to the Northern Hospital.
