A man is in hospital with serious head injuries after being attacked in the Melbourne CBD overnight.
Police say the 19-year-old Avondale Heights man was assaulted by a group of at least three men in Little Lonsdale Street shortly before 3:00 am (AEST).
The man was found lying unconscious on the footpath and is now in an induced coma in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack.
