Parents urged to help in vandalism fight
Posted
Murray Darling MP John Williams is urging parents to take more responsibility for what their children do.
Mr Williams met the Barrier local area command Superintendent Ian Dickson yesterday to discuss the spate of vandalism to fences in Broken Hill.
The reports of fences being pushed over started over a month ago, and police have been interviewing a number of young people about the vandalism.
Mr Williams says parents need to cooperate with police attempts to catch the offenders, by keeping an eye on their children and telling them not to take part in acts of vandalism.
