MP attacks Govt's grocery prices website

Cowper MP Luke Hartsuyker has slammed the Federal Government's new grocery prices website.
The GROCERYchoice website publishes price comparisons between supermarket chains taken in monthly surveys and is now up and running.
But Mr Hartsuyker says it does not provide the cost of any specific products, and will not help mid-north coast families struggling with the high cost of living.
"GROCERYchoice won't result in cheaper prices for shoppers, it ignores specials and multi-buys," he said.
"The information it provides is out-of-date, it can't identify the shop where the basket was taken.
"It's basically just Kevin Rudd being seen to do something about grocery prices when in fact he's doing nothing at all."
