A meeting between the Canberra Raiders board and troubled star Todd Carney is continuing.

Carney and his manager entered the meeting around 10.30am AEST.

The 22-year-old grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons recently after a late night drinking session with team-mate Bronx Goodwin.

Numerous complaints were made against he pair, including one, that was later withdrawn, that Carney had urinated on a another patron.

The Raiders have offered Carney a chance to stay at the club if he abides by a five-point disciplinary plan.

The half-back has accepted the plan except for a stipulation that he not play again this season.

The club has previously indicated the plan is not negotiable despite the Raiders still being in contention to make the finals.

It is understood an announcement regarding Carney's future will be made this afternoon.
