The Construction Forestry, Mining and Energy Union says Woodside has taken away medical facilities from workers on phase 5 of the Burrup LNG plant in the state's North-West

The Assistant Secretary Joe McDonald says the company has withdrawn services made available to the workers because the project is winding down.

The workers have been told to visit Karratha Hospital or the town's medical centre if they are unwell.

Mr McDonald says there are still hundreds of workers at the site.

"There's a meeting this morning with some 4-hundred workers and they're fairly upset and they're fairly angry about it, we're seeking an urgent conference in the commission to try and get something put back in place," he said.

Woodside says there will be fewer than 50 workers at the site by the end of the month.

It says the company put the medical facilites in place for the peak period of the project.
