A 12-year-old boy from the Gold Coast remains in a New South Wales hospital after he and four other students were injured while on a school trip to the Snowy Mountains.
The boy is being kept in hospital for observation after he and his classmates from King's Christian College were injured when wall panels fell on them in a hall at Jindabyne.
College spokesman Stephen Wruck says a teacher will remain with the boy while the rest of the students return home.
"They're a bunch of really good year seven kids on a trip of a lifetime really, they've been down there, I think spent two days skiiing after having a trip to Parliament House and having a wander down there, so the relationship is pretty good and they're all a pretty strong bunch," he said.
