Two men involved in a brawl that ended with the stabbing death of another man four years ago have had their sentences reduced.
Teenagers Ashley Nance and Wayne Gibbins were among four men given life sentences for the murder of Jeffrey Newman in 2004.
The four men were in a car chased down and rammed by Newman and his friends at Elizabeth in 2004.
A fight broke out and Newman was stabbed once.
Neither Nance nor Gibbins were involved in the stabbing and on appeal their convictions were reduced to manslaughter.
Nance was sentenced to almost four years in jail but the court heard he is eligible for parole immediately.
Gibbins was given a six-year sentence and can apply to be released in four months.
