Wriedt still to reveal plans for future

One of the Cabinet colleagues of Tasmanian Minister Paula Wriedt hopes she'll announce her plans for the future soon.
Ms Wriedt is still in hospital, after attempting suicide on Monday.
Ms Wriedt released a statement yesterday, admitting she had an affair with her former driver and apologising for the hurt the relationship has caused.
The statement made no mention of whether Ms Wriedt plans to return to Parliament.
The Premier David Bartlett has taken over her portfolios for the short term.
The Environment Minister Michelle O'Byrne won't speculate on what'll happen in the long term.
"We'll hopefully have some clarity about Paula's future soon, but we all wish her the best," she said.
If Ms Wriedt resigns due to ill health she'll qualify for a superannuation payout of $850,000.
Her former driver's seeking compensation from the Government and his lawyers have flagged possible sexual harassment claims.
