Riders saddle up for Mt Isa Rodeo

Some of the best rodeo riders in the country are in north-west Queensland for start of the Mount Isa Rodeo.
The rodeo is in its 50th year.
Organisers say it has the biggest cash prize pool for a rodeo in the Southern Hemisphere and attracts some of the best bull riders in the country.
The rodeo's David Woodward says it is not just the local acts on show.
"We've also got international competitors flying in - it's now seen as a destination within the industry," he said.
He says they are expecting about 20,000 spectators through the gates between now and Sunday.
Mr Woodward says some of the nation's best country music acts will also make an appearance.
