Police say a 10-year-old boy who has been missing for three days has been found.

Jacob Taylor went missing from his father's boat moored at Port Adelaide on Tuesday night, sparking a widespread search.

He has been taken to the Port Adelaide police station.

Police say Jacob was found safe and well at a house in Sturt.

A 42-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, both from Aldinga, have been questioned.

Police will also question Jacob's father over a charge of creating false belief.

Brett Taylor claimed his son had run away, but police say it appears the boy was not missing and had been hidden by his father, another man and a woman.

All three are facing charges.

Earlier police combed several locations across Adelaide after receiving tip-offs from the public.

Police distributed hundreds of photos as part of the search.
