There have been two fatal overnight road accidents in north Queensland.

A motorcyclist aged in his early 30s died when his bike crashed into a light pole near Mackay.

A male teenager also died in a single vehicle accident at Yarrabah.

Another passenger was badly injured.

The 25-year-old driver allegedly fled the scene, but was found a short time later and taken to the hospital.
