Teen suffers smoke inhalation in house blaze

Posted August 15, 2008 14:28:00

A teenage girl suffered smoke inhalation from a fire that badly damaged a house at Castlemaine last night.

Three Country Fire Authority brigades battled the blaze at the Thomson Court home, but were unable to save two rooms at the rear of the house.

The girl was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation and possible burns, before being transported to hospital.

An electrical fault is believed to have sparked the fire.
