Man charged over Surry Hills toilet assault

Police have charged a man over a sexual assault in inner Sydney earlier this year.
A 32-year-old woman from the ACT was allegedly assaulted in the toilet cubicle of a Surry Hills restaurant in April.
After examining closed circuit television police yesterday arrested a 26-year-old man.
The Iranian national has been charged with detain for advantage and assault with intent to commit sexual assault.
He has been refused bail to appear in court via video link later today.
