Barwon MP opens Cobar office

Posted August 18, 2008 07:45:00

The state Member for Barwon, Kevin Humphries, will open an office in Cobar today.

He will close his Wee Waa electorate office and will operate from Moree and Cobar.

The Nationals' MP says the office is in a prominent position at the intersection of the Kidman and Barrier highways.

"Cobar and the central west of New South Wales has not had political representation in a physical sense, so the opening of the office in Cobar is really designed to help people access the political process," he said.

"I'm encouraging people to come in and visit the office and if they've got suggestions or concerns then we've got actually a physical place where we can do that."
