Black Hawks to descend over Sydney

Posted August 18, 2008 11:27:00

Four Black Hawk helicopters will be seen in the skies over Sydney's CBD today and tomorrow as part of pilot training.

The Defence Department says army will do all it can to minimise disruption to workers and residents.

It says the CBD has proved to be a good training area since the Black Hawks moved from Townsville to Holsworthy 18 months ago.

The exercises will be conducted over Pitt Street and over Sydney's football stadium at Moore Park during the day and night.
