Green light sought for new school

Posted August 20, 2008 08:23:00

The Orange Anglican Grammar School is seeking approval to build a new $15 million school.

A development application for the project has just been lodged with Orange council.

The school's principal, Ann Brown, says the school's roll could eventually reach up to 800 students.

She says it would employ about 100 staff and cater for preschoolers to year 12 pupils.

"We've undertaken a demographic study and certainly those results indicate there is demand ... in the district," she said.
