The Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) has made further readjustments to 22 of the state's 89 electorates.

In its final redistribution report, the ECQ also renamed three proposed new seats.

In response to public submissions on a draft report, the boundaries of 22 seats have been altered and three proposed new electorates have been renamed.

Despite some objections, three new seats will be created in the state's south-east, while Fitzroy and Tablelands in northern and central Queensland will be scrapped.

The Darling Downs electorates of Cunningham and Darling Downs will merge to form Condamine.
