Mr Christian has been charged with firearm and simple drug possession offences, the cash has been seized and it's origins being examined under the proceeds of crime unit.

His Balcatta gym was also searched yesterday.

The two boxers were arrested by Sydney police and charged in relation to the possession of $40,000 cash allegedly found in their luggage.

Mr Christian will appear in court on Friday.
