Forbes saleyards to beef up security

There are plans to triple the number of closed-circuit television cameras at the Central West Livestock Exchange in Forbes.
A spate of vandalism attacks has caused thousands of dollars damage at the saleyards.
The chairman of the shire's saleyards committee, Alistair Lockhart, says there are already two security cameras at the site.
But he says councillors will today decide whether to install up to four more.
"But it was always our long-term plan to have cameras all around the site. However, we didn't think we'd have to do it as soon as this, but we are looking to put in some cameras immediately to the tune of about $3,700," he said.
