AFP arrest Melbourne man over child exploitation

Posted August 26, 2008 22:09:00

A 49-year-old Croydon man has appeared in court charged with child exploitation offences.

He was arrested by Australian Federal Police acting on information from a child protection organisation in the United States.

Police allege a computer, discs and scrap books containing images of child abuse were found at the man's home.

He has been released on bail to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court in January.
