Blaze claims Goulburn Valley house

Fire has destroyed a house near Rushworth in the Goulburn Valley overnight.

The fire started in the home on the Moora-Rushworth Road at Moora about 10:45pm AEST.

No-one was home at the time.

Country Fire Authority investigators will investigate the cause of the fire today.

Police say the damage is estimated at $60,000 to $80,000.
