Batemans Bay have won the right to defend their premiership in this year's Sapphire Coast Aussie Rules competition.

The Seahawks outplayed Pambula in Saturday's second semifinal, which also gives them the home ground advantage for the grand final in two weeks.

The Bay won 24.9 (153) to 14.15 (99).

Next week, Pambula will take on the Merimbula Diggers in the preliminary final at Pambula.

In rugby league, Bega have moved into next week's Group 16 grand final after a come from behind win over Cooma at Cooma yesterday. The Roosters trailed at half-time, but finished strongly to win 42-29.

Next Sunday's grand final between defending premiers, Eden and Bega, will be played at Bega.
