Stranded walkers rescued from Snowy Mountains

Four Sydney snow walkers have been rescued by emergency crews after being caught in wet and windy weather overnight near Charlotte Pass in the Snowy Mountains.

The walkers were well prepared for their trek, but became cut-off by the rising Snowy River.

They were rescued this afternoon.
