Inquest into mine worker's death adjourned

The inquest into the death of a mine worker in Queensland's central highlands last year has been adjourned.

The Coroner's Court in Mackay is investigating the death of Jason Blee at the Moranbah North mine.

Jason Blee, 33, died in April 2007 when he was crushed by a reversing shuttle car in Anglo Coal's underground Moranbah North mine.

The inquest is expected to make a number of recommendations to improve safety within the industry.
