Workshops to help businesses with exporting

Posted September 19, 2008 13:32:00

The New South Wales Government is funding a series of workshops on the far south coast this month to help local businesses market and sell their products to the world.

Regional Development Minister Phillip Costa says the program gives regional businesses the opportunity to learn from top quality business and motivational speakers and he is hoping business owners will take advantage of the offer.

Mr Costa says, for a small investment of time, business owners can learn how to improve their profitability by using online marketing.

Two half-day workshops will be held in Batemans Bay on September 24, two the following days in Merimbula and another in Eden on September 26.

The workshops are being held as part of the Department of State and Regional Development's Small Business September events and registration information is available on the Government's website.
