Four hurt in Airlie Beach car crash

Four people are recovering in the Proserpine Hospital after the car they were travelling in rolled down an embankment at Airlie Beach early this morning.

The car became wedged beside a building near a roundabout on Eshelby Road about 12:20am AEST.

One woman suffered hip, neck and head injuries while three other patients, a woman and two men, received minor injuries.
