The Tasmanian Government has agreed to investigate claims about the rezoning of a property at Temma in the State's north-west.

The Greens say there's been an application for the land to be rezoned as a private forest timber reserve with special tax status, despite it being used for grazing.

In Parliament last night the Greens tabled photographs depicting cattle grazing around dead and dying plantation trees.

The Minister for Primary Industries, David Llewellyn says there's a formal process for investigating the claims, and he's happy to look into them.
