Goldfields man facing pornography charges

Police have charged a 38-year-old man from Kalgoorlie as part of an international operation targeting child pornography.
Officers from the Cyber Predator Team arrested the man in June and seized his computer for analysis by federal authorities.
He has been charged with downloading more than 4,700 images of child abuse from various websites.
Operation Centurian began last year after a website in Croatia was accessed more than 12 million times by computer users around the world.
