Australian soldiers injured in E Timor

Two Australian soldiers have been injured in East Timor after their vehicle rolled down a 15-metre embankment.

The accident happened this morning, about 50 kilometres west of Dili.

The men, who were in a stable condition, were flown by helicopter to the International Stabilisation Force hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Department of Defence is investigating.
