Fallout continues over Inpex decision to move to NT

The fallout from a decision by Japanese company Inpex to build a major gas processing plant in the Northern Territory instead of Western Australia is continuing.
The Premier Colin Barnett has again been accused of 'Aboriginal bashing', and a mining group has blamed the previous government for the loss.
The head of the Kimberley Land Council Wayne Bergmann is demanding that Mr Barnett show Aboriginal people some respect.
He told the ABC's Stateline program it was ludicrous for Mr Barnett to blame Aboriginal people for Inpex's decision to build a multi billion dollar gas processing plant in the NT instead of WA.
"It is absolutely absurd for him to bash Aboriginal people," he said.
The Premier has previously said no group should have been given the right of veto over the choice of a site for a communal gas processing facility in the Kimberley, and suggested the land council had "killed the golden goose".
The Association of Mining and Exploration Companies says the previous government's approvals process is to blame, and WA's bureaucracy has the worst reputation in the country.
