Man badly burnt in heater blast

Three men were injured when a gas cylinder attached to a heater exploded in south-east New South Wales last night.

The men were inside a barn at Windellama, near Goulburn, when the cylinder blew up.

The barn caught alight but the three men were able to escape from the building and contact emergency services

A 59-year-old man suffered serious burns to his legs and face and was airlifted to Concord Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

A 44-year-old man is also expected to be transferred to Concord from Goulburn Base Hospital for treatment for burns to his arms.

A 29-year-old man left Goulburn Base Hospital without treatment.
