Irwin considers appeal against mining decision

Posted October 2, 2008 14:18:00

A spokeswoman for Terri Irwin says she has not ruled out appealing against a court decision to allow mining exploration on a planned wildlife reserve on Cape York in far north Queensland.

Last month, the Land Court ruled Cape Alumina could start exploration on the proposed Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve.

Mrs Irwin's spokeswoman says she is considering a number of options, including lodging an appeal against the decision.
