Vic police charge alleged knife assailant

A man has been charged after three children were threatened with kitchen knives during a burglary at Cobram, in northern Victoria.

Police say a 34-year-old man allegedly forced his way into a house yesterday and threatened two men, a woman and the children with two knives.

No one was hurt and the man was arrested by police shortly after.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary, assault with a weapon, assault and possessing a controlled weapon.
