Pavlich makes it five Doig Medals

Fremantle star Matthew Pavlich claimed his fifth best and fairest award for the Dockers on Saturday evening.

Fellow 2008 All Australian Aaron Sandilands finished three votes behind the inspiration skipper while last year's winner Luke McPharlin was a further one vote behind.

AFL Rising Star winner Rhys Palmer rounded out the top four in the Doig Medal count.
