Inverell death suspicious: police

A 39-year-old man has been found dead at a home in Inverell in north-western New South Wales.

Police were called to the house on Lindsay Avenue at about 11:00am AEDT yesterday after receiving a 000 call.

The death is being treated as suspicious and a crime scene has been established.

The man's body will be taken to Newcastle for a post mortem examination.
